The necklace is made of vintage red Tomato Beads which have traveled through time and continents and found in the Koforidua Beads Market, Ghana by a favorite whole seller and friend of mine. I have paired it with recycled brass coin beads from Mali and stunning vintage/antique Alpaka beads from Afghanistan: a stunning bicone Tribal Kazakh Bead 57mm x 15mm, with red enamel and two intricate beads. I just love them and marvel at their incredible workmanship. Its name insinuates a sense of timeless romance, adventure, and enduring connections—just like the journey these beads have taken across continents.
